# Cozero tags

## Tags can be used to independently group data customized to an organization's needs.

### **How do I create Tags?**

With **Tags** users have the ability to independently group their Entries according to what is most important to their needs. While Logs are predetermined emission categories, **Tags** are completely free form. It is possible to filter for **Tags** on the Dashboard as well as in the Log overview. This allows for another level of analysis that can be adapted to the user and that can be used e.g. for individual adapted reporting.

#### **To create a Tag:**

**• Step 1:** Follow the process to create a log. For more information see [here](https://resources.cozero.io/wiki/get-started-with-cozero-log?hsLang=en).  
**• Step 2:** Open the “Advanced” section at the bottom of the tab  
**• Step 3:** To create a new Tag write the name of the Tag on the line and press enter or click “Add”  
**• Step 4:** Click “Save Entry” at the bottom of the page to save your Tag(s) to the Entry

#### **To view your Tags:**

**• Step 1:** Click on the “Log” section on the left of the Cozero platform dashboard  
**• Step 2:** Select “Tags” which is nested under “Log”. Here you have a list of all tags which have been created.
