Data Quality Checks - Recalculation
To ensure the highest possible data quality, we run a daily data quality check on all recent emission calculations. This process allows us to proactively detect and correct any missing or erroneous data that may result from technical issues. While such issues occur only rarely, close monitoring ensures your data remains accurate and reliable.
How issues are handled
When potential issues in recent emission calculations are detected, the following steps apply:
1. Automatic correction within one business day
-
If the affected data can be corrected automatically within one business day, the correction is applied via the Calculation Changes feature.
-
You will receive a notification informing you of the correction.
-
All changes can be reviewed in the Calculation Changes tab.
-
These corrections are applied automatically and cannot be accepted or rejected by users.
2. Closed periods remain protected
-
We never change data within closed periods without explicit customer consent.
-
If closed periods are affected, only data outside closed periods is corrected automatically.
-
Your Customer Success Manager (CSM) will contact you to discuss how to handle corrections for closed periods.
-
Corrections inside closed periods are applied only upon your explicit approval.
3. Corrections requiring longer than one business day
-
If the correction process takes longer than one business day, your CSM will reach out to you.
-
The issue and resolution options will be discussed.
-
The correction will be applied only with your explicit approval.
